B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

  • To produce proficient electronics and communication engineers who can support the dynamic electronic equipments and digital communication requirements in this modern era
  • Engineers should possess basic competency in maths, science and core engineering fundamentals
  • To produce engineering professionals who can perform in multicultural and multidisciplinary corporate environment
  • To be able to undertake cutting-edge research initiatives in the domain of electronics and communication engineering

  • The graduate engineers should be able to design and construct complex electronic devices, gadgets and circuits to enable agile and efficient electrical communication systems
  • Design and analyze different analog and digital circuits with in-depth knowledge and extensive detail
  • To possess know the hardware and interfacing of programming competency and application of computers in signal processing and digital communication systems
  • To be able to install, operate and maintain electronics equipments and systems in private as well as Government organizations
  • To be able to execute design and fabrication of devices, integrated circuits, embedded systems as well electronic equipments

  • Dear Students,

    The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at Future Institute of Technology (FIT) is an extremely dynamic and dedicated learning vertical that gives equal weightage to academic, industry and extra-curricular initiatives of the students.

    At FIT, we prepare students with robust understanding of engineering concepts, practices and skills that help them to become industry ready professionals. Our students are mentored and encouraged to inculcate research orientation and innovative spirit with an ability to work in multi-cultural environment.

    The department have experienced faculty in the areas of Electronic Circuits, Microprocessor based systems, Microwave, Digital Signal Processing, EM Theory and Transmission Lines, Solid State Electronics, Communication Engineering etc. Students will be exposed to the fundamentals of engineering, basics of electronics and electronic circuits and the techniques that are used in analyzing and developing the same. The department boasts of sophisticated Electronics and Communication Engineering laboratories which are equipped with state of the art equipments and tools. The laboratories are designed in such a way that both basic and advanced level experiments can be performed.

    I believe that our students with their passion and zest will not only shine as professionals but also will contribute to the society by passing on their skills, ideas and values to the next generation of engineers.

XPLORE’ 18 was organized by ECE department on 23rd March, 2018 at ECE department, FIT.

XPLORE had two events: PROJECTions (Innovative project exhibition and competition) and inQUIZition (Technical Quiz contest). Students of various colleges like FIEM, St. Thomas, Heritage, ITME along with FIT participated with great zeal in the one-day event. The event was a huge success.
